Please know that Envida transit is still operating for essential rides and services. This includes taking people to necessary medical and behavioral health appointments, and we will deliver food and prescriptions for those who are vulnerable and should not/cannot get out. In fact, if someone still needs to get to work, we can help with those rides too. While we are not running our regularly scheduled route, we will make arrangements to handle these requests. Please call us at 719-633-4677.
Envida recognizes that Eastern El Paso County needs to stay connected to critical services, and we are here to help. Envida cares.

Calhan Connection will allow eastern El Paso County residents to take a bus to and from the Colorado Springs area for $5 each way. For 65 and older, transportation is free. The program was launched Wednesday, October 18th, by Envida, a nonprofit that provides transportation and home care to Colorado Springs residents who are elderly or disabled.
In the past, some programs have sporadically provided transportation for seniors. But this will be the first to serve people of all ages, said Patty Jolly, a third-generation Calhan resident and community outreach coordinator.
